TERI BOURDEAU

Psychologist with executive coaching certification who uses best practices to help you get results you want.

Dr. Teri Bourdeau is a licensed clinical psychologist, leader, thinker, problem solver, and professional with more than 20 years of experience serving individuals, youth, families, and providers of mental health services. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tulsa (2004) during which she completed her internship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She is board certified in Child and Adolescent Psychology.

 

Since completing her formal training, Dr. Bourdeau has been in private practice, taught undergraduate and graduate students (first as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tulsa and then as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences), directed a behavioral health clinic, served on professional boards (for the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences), served on the executive management team of PracticeWise, a company whose mission is to "advance how evidence and information are used to improve the lives of children and families, provided training and consultation to thousands of behavioral health providers, and advocated for the use of effective psychological interventions.

She is dedicated to helping others achieve their highest level of personal well-being and resilience  using evidence-based strategies, including the most important data source, you.

Dr. Bourdeau understands the challenges parents and youth face in a world filled with both opportunity and distractions and is passionate about helping them find the way to live their best lives.

Dr. Bourdeau's personal core values of authenticity, commitment, dedication, and quality are reflected in her work with clients. She is deeply committed to helping others to achieve their full potential and is known for her ability to connect with others in a way that allows them to not only be open to new ideas but also to take specific actions that will lead them to their goals.

 

Dr.  Bourdeau has been inspired by many mentors,  patients, colleagues, and patients over the years and is committed to lifelong learning. She believes that the insights and wisdom she gains from her clients and her continuing education help her to better understand the human experience - and to be a more effective therapist and leader.
